Kerry Fingland
I have been teaching elementary art at Ticonderoga Elementary School since 2003.
I always knew that I loved art--even when I was in elementary school myself. Throughout school and college I pursued studies in art and art history. I also received a degree in teaching and english at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y. I attended St. Joseph's college in Vermont to receive my Graduate Degree in Education. My first teaching experiences were as a substitute teacher and then as a kindergarten and fourth grade classroom teacher. Although I enjoyed teaching in the classroom, I never lost my desire to be an art teacher. Ticonderoga Central School District gave me that opportunity--and I love working here! |
