Kelly Shenise My name is Kelly Shenise (Kuzicki), and I have been teaching at High Point Regional High School since 2010. I teach Contemporary Crafts (Mostly Ceramics), Digital Photography, and AP 2-D Design. In the past I have taught Graphic Design, and coached tennis, basketball, and lacrosse. Erin Meyers My name is Erin Meyers, and I have been teaching Fine Art and Contemporary Crafts at High Point since 1999. I have known since childhood that I wanted to be both an artist and a teacher. My job is perfect because it allows me to do just that. I have always loved drawing and painting, but in more recent years I have become interested in 3-D work, such as ceramics and jewelry-making. I stress to my students that I am constantly learning and changing, just as they are. I believe it is a benefit to my students to work with an instructor who shares the same goals as they do, and takes an active role in observing, learning, doing, and finding value in the process of art, rather than the end result. Self-expression, self-discovery, and open-mindedness are very basic human qualities that I nurture in my students, and I am fortunate to teach a subject that is so relevant to every facet of our children's lives.
