Nichol Kamholz
My name is Nichol Kamholz and I am the Art Teacher at Sheridan Hills! The students and staff here are truly a community with a family feel. I have a Master of Arts in Instruction from Saint Mary's University in Minneapolis and I have a teaching license in Elementary Education as well as Visual Arts. My undergraduate degree is in studio art at Gustavus Adolphus College. I enjoy painting and drawing, and have been published as an illustrator. I believe that we are all born with a basic, intrinsic desire to discover, and it is my mission to help young students tap into this search for meaning and purpose through creative artistic experiences. It is my goal to reach children as individual and diverse learners by engaging them in inspiring activities that will help them understand themselves better and relate to an ever-changing world. I feel blessed to be a part of Richfield Public Schools!
Students will be exposed to a wide variety of art media, concepts, and history within varying themes.
