She started her own busines s, The Art Workshop in her home and taught there for 9 years before relocating to the current location. The Art Workshop is in The Center for the Arts in Wyoming, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. Here all of the arts are represented, art, music, dance and theater. Nancy's art students sometimes work with artists from other disiplines to create plays and musical theater productions with fantastic stage sets, props and costumes. The Art Workshop teaches aspiring artists from 4 to 94 years of age, and that includes beginners as well as accomplished artists. Projects include drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, photography, and art history. Her favorite projects to do with kids involve clay. Kids love it and it is so fun to open the kiln! It feels like Christmas morning opening a present with all the shiny surprises inside.
