Hello Vikings! I'm Melanie Rufer and I somehow I was blessed to get the most wonderful teaching job in the world here at Selah Intermediate School! I get to help student be creative and put their imaginations to work all day! Thank you for supporting the art department and thank you for letting me be a part of your lives! I don't have children at home, so I consider all of my students my own. I love gardening, creating art, reading, travelling to see family in England, camping, hiking, and my favorite place is at the beach! I am married to my amazing husband Jake, and we love our 2 giant dogs, 8 polydactyl cats, 20 hens, and 1 rooster!
