My name is Ashlee Ward and I will be the art teacher here at Rowland Elementary School. Like so many of your young artists, I love to draw and paint, and this semester in art your student will be doing all sorts of amazing projects! We’ll learn about color theory, drawing techniques and basic construction; while pulling in math, language arts and social studies connections for cross-curricular learning. It is my goal that all students will leave art with a strong capability to solve problems creatively, which is a highly sought after skill in today’s world. Looking forward to an awesome school year with your young artist!
