Julia Matthews
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art and Graphic Design from Lewis University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University. An avid artist since early childhood, I have taught art to K-12 students and adults in schools and park districts since 2008 but have only recently become a full time art teacher in 2013. I also enjoy coordinating painting parties for all ages as a way for me to stay involved outside of school and spread confidence within communities that art can be achieved for all abilities .
