Meet the Teachers  at Robert E Ellis Middle School (Hendersonville, Tennessee)

	Stephanie Sylvester Mrs. Sylvester is the Visual Arts teacher, sponsor of the Art Club, and co-sponsor of the DND Club at Robert E. Ellis Middle School. This is her thirteenth year at Ellis and fourteenth year teaching. Before teaching at Ellis, she student taught in Chattanooga, Tennessee at the elementary and high school level and then taught middle school art for a year and a half. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Art Education, and is certified for grades K-12. Her students' artwork has been exhibited at Starbucks, Monthaven Mansion in Hendersonville, and the Frist Art Museum in Nashville. In addition to her teaching endeavors, she enjoys taking care of her three rescue dogs, creating in her art studio, selling her creations on Etsy, reading, traveling with her husband, visiting art museums and gardening.
