Sally Smollar
My name is Sally Smollar, and I am the school librarian at Plumosa. I have a B.S. and M.L.I.S from Florida State University in Library and Information Science and a certificate in Library Leadership & Management. In addition to providing library services to the children and faculty, I teach a class in Digital Media to students in grades 3,4 &5 in our Apple iMac lab. We use technology as a tool for learning, sharing knowledge and gathering information. My students are engaged in a variety of creative projects and in the process, they learn to collaborate and solve problems.
