I taught art at Big Creek Elementary for 26 years. I retired in 2014. I started Big Creek's gallery on Artsonia in 2003, and managed it until I retired in 2014. I decided to re-activivate my status to showcase some of my own art. My space on the Big Creek Art Gallery will be called Kathy's Gallery. I want to purchase some products with my images on it and thought that Artsonia would be the best venue for that. I love the idea that 20% of dollars I spend will go to the Big Creek Art program.
Anyone is welco ... read moreme to purchase a product from Artsonia using one of my images. I always appreciated the extra funds my Big Creek Gallery earned for the my school's art program. it allowed me to purchase supplies for the classroom and use for special art projects.
I remain an enthusiastic supporter of the arts and still believe in the benefit children gain from showcasing their artwork on Artsonia. It was the most positive program I ever participated in during my career and was worth every minute I spent photographing the tens of thousands pieces of amazing children's artwork represented on Artsonia.
