Shelly Souders
Mrs. Souders is in her 16th year at Mize Elementary. Before teaching, she was a graphic artist for 20 years, working in travel, publishing, and for a non-profit. During the summer of 2020, Mrs. Souders published her first children's book "Poor Monday". The book celebrates a key belief of Mrs. Souders: everyone has a gift, and we are meant to share it. As Pablo Picasso said, "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away."
