Hello, my name is Mrs. Katelyn Smith and this will be my 12th year at Manor View Elementary located in Fort Meade, MD. This is my 16th year of teaching in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools System. I most recently was nominated as the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year Representative for Manor View Elementary, and a finalist for the 2026 Maryland Art Educator of the Year through the Maryland Art Education Association. I ... read more have multiple teaching degrees/certificates ranging in Art Education, Curriculum & Instruction and Arts Integration. I love drawing, painting, mosaics, and stained glass. In the past, I have also served as the Elementary Level Representative, secretary, and currently serve as the Region 4 representative for the Maryland Art Education Association.
