So for my new students and their parents, here is a little about me. This is my 40th year teaching art. Some of my favorite artists are Van Gogh, George Rodrigue, and Matisse. I love Pop Art because it’s fun, colorful and has a sense of humor. The best part of teaching is when your students “get” what you’re teaching and then use it to create something all their own. On a personal note I have three grown kids and 3 grandkids. I live in the house I grew up in that’s full of art, plants, books and pets!! I collect old photos, postcards and paper to use in my own art, own an online art and bookstore and just wrote a book about the founder of Sand Springs…Charles Page. I look forward to being a part of this school and community!
