Welcome Parents/Guardians,
I am your child's visual arts teacher this year! This will be my ninth year teaching middle school art and my second year at MJS. I am very excited to be here and to help your child hone in on their creativity. My goal is for each student to gain an appreciation for a variety of art mediums. Each grade will have art projects assigned ranging from sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage. I hope my classroom is a safe space for your child to feel welcome and valued. Throughout the year, you will see your child's artwork posted along with their artist statements.
