Engaging in a discussion about artwork teaches students that people care about creativity. They warmed my heart and helped me to feel appreciated. Sincerely, Mrs. Geist I am have been the Art Teacher in the Mitchell School District since 2004. It's a great school to work in. The staff and students are very supportive of the arts. I have been on a cart twice and been located in several different rooms and building, yet it doesn't seem to effect our ability to create GOOD artwork. The South Dakota State Fair would agree since Mitchell has placed 1st many years in a row....I think it's happened each year of my employment in Mitchell. I am a South Dakota State University Graduate with a Bachelors of Science. My degree is in Visual Arts Education. Before coming to Mitchell I worked in Wessington Springs, Woonsocket and Lower Brule. I also taught over the DDN system to Mr. Vernon, Artesian and Ethan. That was a long time ago. Send compliment
