This is one of my all-time-favorite quotes...and one I think about EVERYDAY as I work alongside my elementary students. My passion is to instill in these kiddos that WE ARE ALL Artists! We may have different artistic styles...Come from different walks of life...Have different likes and dislikes...Have different stories to share...and persevere with different strengths and challenges.....but we are artists nonetheless! This is my 33rd year of teaching art!! I truly feel blessed to be able to spend my days watching kids discover their innate talents, share their excitement for conquering a challenge, and finding joy in the world of art! |
