Hello! I am the art teacher here at Indian Prairie! I started teaching here wayyyy back in 2003. Back then I taught 2nd grade. I moved to 4th for a year before landing in 3rd grade, where I stayed until 2019. Right before the pandemic I slid into the art position. It was interesting learning to teach a new subject in a new world of teaching, but I feel it made me a better teacher in the long run! I absolutely love teaching art, watching your children create, and seeing them grow as artists from the first time they step into my classroom (in Kindergarten for many) until they leave in 5th grade!
