Hilburn Academy
Hilburn Academy is a Pre-K–8 learning community in Raleigh, North Carolina, committed to cultivating curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and compassionate citizens. As a whole-school community, we blend strong academics with STEAM-rich learning experiences, leadership opportunities, and a focus on the whole child. Our students engage in hands-on exploration, collaborate across grade levels, and celebrate growth through authentic projects and showcases. Miss. Hinson
I’m Ms. Hinson, the visual arts teacher at Hilburn Academy in Raleigh, NC. I teach Pe-K–8 artists and love helping students explore big ideas through color, pattern, and creative risk-taking. In our art studio, we experiment with drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed media while connecting our projects to history, culture, science, and the world around us. I’m so proud to share my students’ artwork on ArtSonia and celebrate their creativity with our community!
