Denise Barrett
Hello, my name is Denise Zeiss (Barrett), and I am honored to be spending my 11th year of teaching at Hickory Woods Elementary! I believe my students can use art not only to express their ideas and feelings, but to help them better understand their core curriculum, as well as the fast paced, and increasingly visual based world that surrounds them. In my spare time I enjoy ceramics, woodworking, home repair, and spending time outside with my husband, daughter, and our dog, Jaeger!
