Ann Griffin Hi! I am Ann Griffin and I have been teaching in District 54 since 2016. I have experience in fiber arts, clothing design, digital design, watercolor painting, drawing, and mural painting. I am an passionate advocate for the arts and believe that every student should have a strong education in the four fine arts. In my own teaching, I work to provide a classroom environment that promotes open thoughts, respect, self-discipline and critical thinking about the world we live in. I also like to approach art making in a more choice-based classroom in which children can choose the media they feel best fits their needs. This approach requires students to grow a foundation of self-discipline, routines, and teamwork, and is worth the end-result: a well-rounded individual who is well on their way to becoming responsible citizens of our world.
