I'm Mrs. Makowski and I'm very excited to be teaching art at Defer Elementary this year! This is my 17th year at Defer and 20th in Grosse Pointe. I have a B.F.A. in Design from the University of Michigan and a M.A.T. in Art Education from Wayne State University. I started my career as a graphic designer before deciding to become a teacher.
I currently live in Grosse Pointe Farms with my husband, son, daughter and cats (Cookie & Chip). In my spare time I like to read, hike and draw. |
