I can remember back to Kindegarten when my art teacher gave me an award for Most Talented. It was a giant yellow (paper) ribbon. She asked me the infamous question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" I immediately said I want to be an art teacher too! I never changed my mind. I was hooked. I graduated from Radford University with an art education degree. Now into my fourth year teaching, I am still hooked! I love to be able to come to work everyday doing something that I have enjoyed since I was little and will continue to enjoy until im old. Art is a part of me.
