Gretchen Short
Hello, I'm Gretchen Short and I am the K-6 elementary art teacher in Waretown Elementary School and Frederic A. Priff Elementary School. I have been teaching art for 22 years. I started my career as an elementary art teacher and then taught pottery at Southern Regional High School. After staying home with my own children for 5 years, I returned to teaching in Ocean Township School District in 2008. My husband is a guidance counselor at Southern Regional High School and I have a 20 year old daughter who attends Florida State University and a 18 year old son who attends James Madison University. In my free time, I enjoy watercolor painting.
