Georganna Tomkins
Mrs. Shoemaker (formerly Tomkins) has been teaching art at Eugene Field since 1999 and taught elementary art in DeSoto, Missouri for two years before moving to Mexico (Missouri). Her mission is to foster creativity in all students through the exploration and appreciation of art in many ways. She loves to encourage her students to use art as a creative process with a visual outcome to express and communicate ideas. Ms. Tomkins has a Bachelors of Science in Advertising Design and a Masters Degree in Art Education from Truman State University (Kirksville, MO) and is certified K-12 through the state of Missouri.
