Helen Windhorst
I love teaching art. I am a National Board Certified Teacher.
I have worked in the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools my entire career. I am honored to be the 2013 Kansas Elementary Teacher of the Year nominee from the district. I am the lead elementary art teacher for the district. I, now, teach art at Emerson Elementary. I am so happy to be here. I have been married to my husband, Bill, for 39 years. I am very proud of our four grown children. My hobbies are painting, reading, and the internet. My door is always "open" and everyone is welcomed to visit the art room. |
