Teaching art for twenty years has given me the experience to offer an extensive art program to both 7th and 8th grade students. Classes are for beginners or for those students who are progressing with prior experience. "Beginning Art" is offered as a semester course, followed by "Drawing" in the spring. After completion of both of these courses, students are elegible to apply for an "Advanced Art" course that will begin their 8th grade year. "Advanced Art" is a 1 year course that builds upon prior knowledge, and includes drawing, painting, and sculpture. Art history and art appreciation are also studied extensively throughout my courses.
