Cornelia Brown I have been teaching since 2013 and began my career while earning my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). During that time, I taught VPK and later went on to teach Kindergarten through 8th grade across general studies, following core curriculum standards. In 2023, I fully stepped into the art world, embracing a new love and approach for teaching. Today, I proudly serve as the art instructor at my current school, where I aim to connect with students through visual arts. I believe art provides students with a voice beyond words—a way to express deeper sides of themselves, build confidence, and discover new perspectives.
