While working in the field of architecture, I realized after the birth of my daughter that I was fascinated with how children learn. I discovered that being an educator was a hidden passion that I had. After teaching elementary art in Texas for 6 years, I moved to Washington and taught 4th grade until we started an elementary art program. I am so excited to be creating art with the amazing young artists at Cape Horn-Skye!
