I believe that art is an important part of your student's curriculum. Research shows that, not only does art improve academic performance in math and reading, but it also promotes creativity, decision and problem solving skills, inventiveness, visual learning, motor skills, social development and self-worth. Credentials: * Master's in Art Education *17 years in Teaching * 11 years of teaching experience in elementary art * 6 years of teaching experience with high school art (two of those years at a school specifically for students with learning differences) * Member of the LAEA (Lee Art Education Association) |
