I've been teaching art for about a decade but this is my first year at General Marshall Middle School. Previously, I've taught art at a nearby elementary school and at various local after-school non-profits. Most recently, I spent the past two years living abroad while pursuing a double master's degree in Visual Studies and Art Education. Besides teaching art, I also write curriculum for local art museums, have a personal art practice myself, and enjoy spending time outdoors, playing sports, baking, and gardening. I'm excited to be surrounded by such talented, creative, cool, and weird middle schoolers at GMMS and I look forward to having a great year exploring a variety of art media together!
