Meet the Teachers  at Brooklyn Elementary School (PK - 4) (Brooklyn, Connecticut)

Laura Gatlin "Some people only dream of meeting their favorite artists. I teach mine." I am reminded of this thought every single day. I am currently in my ninth year of teaching, and was blessed to receive my position at Brooklyn Elementary School two years ago. I taught seven years in Rhode Island and proceeded to move to Connecticut after getting married. I have a Bachelor's Degree in both Art Education and Graphic Design, a minor in Art History, and I completed my Master's Degree in May of 2016. I received all ... read more my degrees from Rhode Island College, and I have taught elementary for my entire teaching career. I also had the opportunity to illustrate a children's book entitled, "What Goes Up Must Come Down." I look forward to many more years of teaching my favorite artists.
