I think I have the greatest job in the world! I love my students and am thrilled as I watch them discover things they never knew they could do--the creative process is fascinating. Students do some of their deepest thinking in the Art room; I had a student say to me once "You don't just teach Art, you teach about the whole world!" It's true! We study different times, cultures and places and the art they produce. We learn how art and literature connect through illustration and how they both can tell a story. ... read more
