Welcome Students & Parents to Eagle View's Art Sonia.
I have been teaching in MNPS schools for the past 5 years and have loved every minute of it! As a product of Metro Schools, I proud to be a graduate of John Overton High school and to continue to give back to my MNPS community as an Art Teacher.

- Currently a proud mother of 2 children; a 10 year old Cat named Kasia & a 28 year old husband named JC.
-Painting is my favorite hobby as well as, watching Documentaries on ... read more Sharks, Art History and different cultures around the globe.
-When I am not painting or snacking on Cheetos watching Netflix, I enjoy researching new and exciting art to show my students!
- A few of my greatest accomplishments are; coming to the United States of America in the ripe age of 3 and adapting quite quickly, becoming a US Citizen in 2009, completing my Bach. of Science in Art Education @ MTSU with a 3.8 GPA, Studying Abroad in Norway & Demark teaching Art to English Language Learners, getting married to my husband after 7 years of courtship, feeding and petting a Nurse Shark & the ability to cluck like chicken quite realistically. Just ask me the next time we meet!
