Blythe Rusling
I am a Waldorf grades teacher at Juniper Ridge Community School in Grand Junction, Colorado. My students explore art through my Blackboard drawings, which they re-create in their Main Lesson books, or paint and draw with pastel or art sticks. I have discovered that the color saturation and texture that you can get on a blackboard with pastels is incomparable and lends itself well to prints. My students have seen that I can sell my artwork online, and asked if they could have the same opportunity. Now families can purchase their child's beautiful artwork though artsonia and raise money for our fantastic community school at the same time!
