I love all kinds of art, and enjoy sharing that with others. I am currently working with Alazhar School's student government whose mission is to enhance the lives of the students through visual art. This program allows students to explore art through various media, from different artist viewpoints, and in combination with cultural events. When I was a student in elementary school, art was my saving grace. I was a poor reader and had trouble organizing my thoughts into meaningful writing, but I could clearly communicate through visual channels. My parents were encouraged to provide formal instruction for me and luckily they could afford to do so. My desire is to help provide an environment where everyone can access and enjoy art.
