Tonya Marcum
This is my 17th year as an art teacher and my 9th year teaching kindergarten art. Before teaching kindergarten art, I taught high school and middle school art. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, teaching certification in P-12 Art, and a Master's of Education in Instructional Design. I am also certified by CollegeBoard as an Advanced Placement (AP) Instructor in Studio Arts. I recently became a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) for Early/Middle Childhood Studio Art. In October of 2019, I was awarded Elementary Art Teacher of the Year by KyAEA (Kentucky Art Education Association).
