Julie Trout
Mother Nature was my first teacher. I grew up in West Virginia among the trees, streams, and rolling green hills. Creating art throughout my life has gotten me out of sticky spots, helps me celebrate good things, and most importantly, has opened my mind in the best ways possible. Working with kids on finding their creative process is an amazing opportunity. To me, the arts show us how to express what is happening on the inside in surprising and wonderful ways. Celebrating the arts is an honor that I get to do everyday!
