Kelly Mueller Kelly Mueller has been teaching 8th Grade CA prep, 2D elective, CA Visual Arts 1, and CA Visual Arts 2 at Lusher Charter School since 2007. Previous teaching engagements have included Millsaps College (Jackson, MS), Northern Illinois University, Southeastern Louisiana University, River Parishes Community College, and the Louisiana Womens Correctional Facility through a state grant program. She holds a BSEd (Special Education, Behavioral Studies) and an MFA (Studio Art) from Northern Illinois University and ... read morean MA (Painting) from Governors State University in Illinois. Ms. Mueller owns a muraling business (Mueller's Murals) and works in her own studio on large, textural works investigating social relationships and temporality. She is a member of Baton Rouge Gallery and her work has been exhibited in NYC, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, and other national venues. She traveled to the Amazon Jungle in 2012 to collect imagery for her work through a generous grant from the Surdna Foundation. Send compliment
