Nina Silverman-Weeks
Recipient of the 2010 Middle School Art Educator of the Year Delaware award, Nina Silverman has devoted the past 32 years to the “art of teaching.” As a mixed-media artist and photographer, Ms. Silverman continually examines ideas to combine traditional, as well as non-traditional art materials in alternative ways. Author of "The P Principles, Transferable Skills & Habits for Lifelong Living & Learning." An Alum of Temple University Tyler School of Art, University of the Arts, and Moore College of Art & Design, Ms. Silverman thinks that the best education she has received has been from her students and colleagues at Sanford School. Most recently, Ms. Silverman became a Certified Naturalist from the Delaware Nature Society in 2017.
