Julie Hancock I have been teaching art on and off since 2004 from elementary through high school but have spent more time teaching middle school students. What they say is true that it takes special people to take on the challenges of middle school but I encountered the charm of the student culture as well. Though I strive for creativity with my students, I feel that they face so many challenges that I focus on the joy of doing art while experimenting with techniques to enable my students.
