After earning a BA in art from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I started my teaching career at Pleasanton, NE in 1994 where I taught art in grades K-12. I have been teaching art in the Alliance Public Schools for 14 years. Currently, I am the art teacher for grades 5-8 at the Alliance Middle School.
Art is the poetry of shape, color, and texture. It allows students to relax and lose themselves. It encourages creativity and imagination.
