Marcia Huebel
After 21 years, I am retiring from teaching art at MLCA. It is a job I have loved since the school opened, and I have been blessed beyond measure though it. Through the years, I taught students in grades K-12, and have loved working with all of the different age groups! My days were filled with insightful discussion about art history and theology (from the students), paint, glue (sometimes LOTS of it), pencils, paper, wire, odd-ball still lifes, and earnest planning punctuated with avant-garde spontaneity. It has truly been my dream job! I will miss my students and their creativity. Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, and friends who have viewed our student art on this site over the years.
