I have always had a passion and deep love for art all my life. Although I earned a degree in Business, my heart has always been in the arts. Only after teaching art on a volunteer basis at my child's school did I realize that teaching art is my "calling." My friend and associate, Jenny Cantrell, and I taught art together at school for several years then decided to bring our talents to the Home School arena and start Kids Love Art. Parents....I'm a MOM first and love working with all the kids I have the privilege to know! I started volunteering in 2001 at Baker Elementary in the Discover Art program where my kids went to school. That is where I met Melanie and we worked together to improve and grow the Art department at Baker. In 2005, Baker got a paid art teacher and we were wondering what to do next. So we sought the need for art in the home-school community, where we started our own business "Kids Love Art". I love it and hope to continue for many years to come.
