Nicole Mahar
I am a fifth grade teacher in Fullerton. Art is a favorite of mine. As I'm not very artistic, I love the confidence that my students show in their art and the confidence that I can give them through meaningful discussions about their art and their capabilities. We do about 10-15 major art projects throughout the year in class and through our district's "All the Arts" program they have many chances to create visual art using various mediums an additional six times per year. I love Artsonia and hope that this program helps to increase parent involvement as well as raise some funds for our art program at school.
