Knowledge is wonderful, but the ability to take knowledge and fuel it with passion does takes knowledge to a whole new level. Passion instills a drive, a goal and competitiveness in a person to want and achieve at higher levels. Doing ones best is a rule in my classroom. I do not settle for any less than the best from my students, some must reach while others must jump high to achieve their goals. My students do not do art just to do art. They create art to learn, to appreciate, and to understand why art has been a cultural component for thousands of years.
