Biography

Thank you for visiting Franklin ISD Art Gallery. As an art teacher, my major objective is to enhance the everyday lives of my students through the enjoyment of art. My goal is to give each student the appreciation of art by building a foundation of understanding. Studio activities in the art room are intergrated and meaningful, to present a unified, consistent series of art experiences for the student. As a correlation with other subjects, art can develop the creative ability of the students, broadening their thinking and heightening their awareness of the role of art in the world. For the past 13 years I have had the opportunity to teach students multiple techniques using various art mediums. The greatest joy is seeing a student discover, then develop their talent, creating wonderful works of art.
