Biography

Kristin Meriam (formerly Kristin Meriam-Bloodworth) studied art at Bard College and University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She earned a BA in Art and MAEd in Art Education at UAB. She taught art in Hoover and at the Birmingham Museum of Art before coming to Hewitt-Trussville Middle School in 2011. Ms. Meriam's art has been exhibited at Gadsden Museum of Art, Visual Arts Gallery, Bottletree, Homewood Public Library, and the Cahaba Lily Gallery.
