Biography

This is my 15th year teaching Art at First United Methodist. I enjoy teaching the art basics as well as teaching about many Artists. The students here are eager to learn different techniques and to try new things. God has given me a great talent for drawing and painting. Now that I have been teaching I have learned a lot about the various Artists both past and present. I have a Masters Degree in Christian Education and I also enjoy teaching and serving at First Baptist Church, St. Cloud, FL. I have always had a love for art and still draw and paint as a hobby, when time allows. While serving as a Dorm Parent at Hannibal LaGrange College in Hannibal, MO, I painted several backdrops for plays and performances. I have also painted a picture in the baptistery of a church I attended in Ft. Worth, TX. I am very thankful for the talent the Lord has blessed me with and will continue to use it to show others the joy of Art.
