Biography

Pablo Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." That's where I come in. As a practicing artist I teach students to remain artists as they move through Banneker Elementary School. We work to find solutions in the art room not excuses; where we don't look for perfection, we just look to do our best. Enjoy the choices we make, and the solutions we find in creating our art work and know that we have done our best to remain artists in all that we do.
