Biography

Suzanne McComack is Latin and Art educator at a Classical Christian School called Heritage in Fredericksburg, Texas. She has taught all levels of art for children ages five through 18 during her 30 years of experience in both public and private schools. She is presently on chapter eight of a book for art teachers called Connect with the Classics, which presents art lessons based upon Greco-Roman Civilization and the arts. This compilation of lessons also includes service-oriented projects that encourage students to regard their community as a mission field. Her own artwork includes mixed media monoprints using photo emulsion on watercolor papers. She is working on a series entitled “Ariadne” that creates a collage connecting the themes of the Minotaur with life today.
